The Design phase is a crucial step in project development, as it is where technical requirements and our solutions are implemented in digital (3D) format, using CAD software. We begin by presenting schematic layout designs to our clients to ensure that all project specifications are met. The Design phase encompasses the following activities:
– Technological calculations;
– Optimal solution development;
– Materials and industrial components selection;
– Virtual 3D model generation;
– Generation of drawings for manufacturing and assembly;
– Project specification preparation;
– Electric, pneumatic, kinematic and layout diagrams preparation;
– Cyclogram description.
Baltic Automation specializes in developing unique projects in the field of industrial automation. Our commitment to experimenting with non-standard and creative solutions often requires us to explore various manufacturing methods. We offer our customers a wide range of materials processing methods, including:
– CNC milling;
– CNC turning;
– EDM wire cutting;
– EDM die-sink erosion;
– sheet metal laser cutting;
– sheet metal bending/folding;
– grinding;
– powder coating;
– plastics and polymers 3D printing (SLS, SLA, FDM/FFF);
– stainless steel and aluminum 3D printing (SLM).
After the manufacturing phase, the parts are assembled into machine modules and mechanisms, which are then combined to create the final production machine. During this stage, automation control equipment is installed and programmed, followed by initial tests to ensure the machine meets project specifications. Once the machine has passed the initial tests and is deemed to be functioning correctly, the whole project is transported to the customer’s premises. After the client’s approval, project documentation including assembly, maintenance, and work instructions are handed over. If necessary, we can provide additional training on how to operate and maintain the machine.
As experts in the field of automation engineering, Baltic Automation offers consulting services to both current and potential clients. We believe that an ongoing dialogue with clients leads to the most effective outcomes. Our experienced team evaluates your initial ideas and possible modifications to determine the feasibility of implementation. If possible, we offer more optimal solutions while meeting your specifications.
Our engineering philosophy is that the easiest solution is often the most difficult. We invest significant effort in consulting with clients and conducting purposeful discussions to find the most efficient way to accomplish their ideas and needs.
